Technical clarity before development

Knows your architecture. Remembers why you chose it.

Carries project boundaries, technology choices, development rules and past review findings into the next design. You manage what it remembers.

Share your projects and their connections

Bring product goals, existing systems, constraints and development standards together. Architect defines requirements before work begins and makes the implementation path clear.

LEARNS FROM YOUR WORK
My ArchitectLearns from working with you

“We chose to reuse the existing identity service instead of building a new one. Shall I keep this boundary in future designs?”

Example conversation. Your choice is only used in this preview.

A conversation is enough

Ready-to-use task examples

Ask for an implementation plan, requirements, stack comparison or code review. Receive a technical proposal with dependencies, tradeoffs and verifiable steps.

Which stack should we use for this new project?

You

Compare stacks against our requirements and explain integration with our existing projects.

My Architect

I would base the choice on workload, team experience and existing service contracts. The proposal reuses the identity service and keeps the new project’s data ownership explicit.

Which stack should we use for this new project?

  • Options · Compare the existing stack with an alternative against delivery cost, operations and required capabilities.
  • Relationships · Shared identity via its public API; new project owns its domain data.
  • Decision · Validate the uncertain integration in a small prototype before committing.

Define development requirements

CEO

We approved the customer portal goal. Before development starts, define technical requirements, dependencies and acceptance criteria; flag decisions I need to resolve.

My Architect

Access boundaries and the source of customer data must be clear before implementation. Performance targets and failure behavior also need measurable criteria.

What must we clarify before development?

  • Scope · Account ownership, authorized roles and supported customer actions.
  • Technical · API contracts, data isolation, failure behavior and measurable latency targets.
  • Readiness · Resolve open questions with the owner; define testable acceptance criteria for each flow.

Prepare the development plan

CEO

The design is approved. Break it into implementation tasks with dependency order, acceptance criteria and rollout checks so I can coordinate delivery.

My Architect

I split the work into independently reviewable steps. Interface agreement comes first; integration and rollout follow verified behavior.

How should we break down this implementation?

  • 1 · Agree data ownership and API contracts; define contract tests.
  • 2 · Implement domain behavior, service integration and UI in dependency order.
  • 3 · Verify acceptance, regression and observability; prepare staged rollout and rollback criteria.

Review the pull request

Software Engineer

I completed the implementation and attached the checks. Review my pull request against requirements, architecture and project rules; send me concrete findings to resolve.

My Architect

The example change crosses a data boundary and duplicates a business rule. Both findings include an affected path and a proposed verification.

Can you review this pull request?

  • High · Direct access to another project’s tables; use its supported contract.
  • Medium · Validation duplicated in the handler; use the domain rule already in place.
  • Verification · Add boundary and behavior checks; reassess after the revision.

Where can we simplify the architecture?

You

Analyze dependencies, code smells and patterns; prioritize simplifications by impact and migration risk.

My Architect

The lowest-risk starting point is duplicated validation. Service consolidation needs a separate migration analysis.

Where can we simplify the architecture?

  • First · Centralize one duplicated rule and verify existing behavior.
  • Next · Replace a single-implementation factory with a simpler module if extension requirements do not justify it.
  • Later · Evaluate service consolidation against ownership, independent scaling and migration cost.

Are our formatting and lint rules consistent?

You

Review repository conventions and propose consistent formatting, lint and architecture-boundary rules.

My Architect

Formatting rules conflict across two packages. I separate automatic formatting from correctness and architectural constraints.

Are our formatting and lint rules consistent?

  • Formatting · One shared baseline, with explicit package-specific needs.
  • Lint · Unused code, unsafe patterns and prohibited dependency directions.
  • Adoption · Review existing violations; roll out separately from functional changes and check in CI.

A conversation it starts

Proactive. Keeps complexity in check.

Regularly reviews system boundaries, dependencies, patterns and code quality. Finds code smells, proposes simplifications, and defines and checks formatting and lint rules.

Simplifies architecture and dependencies

Maps system and project relationships, identifies unnecessary coupling and proposes staged simplifications.

Finds code smells and unnecessary patterns

Reviews duplication, oversized modules and abstractions against real needs; proposes simpler designs with behavior-preserving checks.

Joins code reviews before changes land

Checks changes against requirements, architecture boundaries, maintainability and existing decisions.

Defines and checks formatting and lint rules

Keeps project conventions explicit, reviews rule conflicts and checks whether changes follow the agreed standards.

You choose the topics, how often it reaches out and when you’d rather stay quiet.

My Architectexample

Two services share one responsibility

Two services duplicate the same validation rules. I prepared a proposal for a single owner, including affected consumers and a staged migration.

My Architectexample

This abstraction adds avoidable complexity

A factory hierarchy has only one implementation. A direct module could reduce indirection. I listed affected callers and the regression checks needed before changing it.

My Architectexample

A dependency crosses a project boundary

The new change reads another project’s internal tables directly. I prepared review findings and suggested using its public interface, with a contract check for the affected flow.

My Architectexample

Formatting rules disagree across packages

Two packages apply conflicting formatting rules. I prepared a shared configuration proposal and separate lint checks for architectural boundaries. The rollout can be reviewed independently of feature changes.
